Surrender was a 1971 album by singer Diana Ross, her third solo LP for the Motown label.
Ross' previous album, Everything is Everything, failed to generate interest due to Motown's rush and hurried efforts to further Ross' solo career, and sunk without a trace. Surrender, however, stored some of the rust that was featured on that project. The album would be Ross' final studio album until the Touch Me in the Morning LP two years later. In the interim between the albums, Ross achieved Motown's goal of becoming a star thanks to her starring role in the 1972 Billie Holiday biopic Lady Sings the Blues.
Following the massive success of the single "I'm Still Waiting" in the UK, Surrender was reissued under that title, and the hit single was added to the track listing. Another hit on the album was "Remember Me", which became an international hit reaching the top twenty in the States as well as top ten in the UK.

- The Surrender version with a hi-hat intro and a sung finale; this version is also available on the British double vinyl set Anthology from 1983.
- The 1978 Ross album version: same length but an almost acappella intro and instrumental ending.
- On the 1986 CD Anthology and the 2001 CD The Motown Anthology: the almost acappella intro is coupled with the sung finale.
- On the 1993 Forever Diana box set the original version is available, but with an early fading (minus 5 seconds compared to the original version).
