Surge Events is the name of a series of art events which began in the autumn of 2006 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. While the focus has been mainly on music, Surge is, in effect, a continuing Multi-Disciplinary Festival with literary readings, film and video. Musical performers have included Motion Ensemble, John Born, Chris Giles, Eric Hill and Bill McIver
