Surface of the Earth (band)

Surface of the Earth is a band from New Zealand. They formed in the 1990s, and played an instrumental role in the "free noise" movement of the mid 1990s. They released material on labels such as Corpus Hermeticum and Fusetron. The band has performed live only once at Antipodes Wellington in October 1995. They record infrequently. Further releases expected some time 2008/2009.
