[edit] Processor Codenames and architectures
Processor code names aren't so much of an issue. However, Napa and Santa Rosa are Centrino architectures, which require an Intel processor, an Intel chipset, and an Intel wireless module. Macs don't use Intel wireless modules, therefore do not use Centrino therefore do not use Napa or Santa Rosa. It's a common blogging (and even journalistic) mistake that causes misinformation to be perpetuated. The iMac and MacBook Pro articles already suffered a massive edit war 6 months ago over this issue. The resolution was to not mention Napa or Santa Rosa (and all future Centrino architectures) on Mac articles. Butterfly0fdoom (talk) 09:29, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
