Could someone verifty the following statement on the BBC's profile of Super Aguri: "Starting at the fourth race of the season at the earliest, Super Aguri will use four-year-old Arrows cars." This is the only source of information I can find about the team not debuting at the start of the 2006 season in Bahrain.

This is incorrect. Super Aguri will compete all Grand Prix this year. They got both cars on track for the first race (Bahrain) 2006.

Super Aguri should not be a redirect to Super Aguri F1. Super Aguri is an umbrella of racing teams managed by Aguri Suzuki, and include Super Aguri F1, ARTA and Super Aguri Fernandez. Pc13 21:53, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

I agree with this, although in all fairness 90% of users entering Super Aguri would be looking for the F1 team. Perhaps a note at the top of the intro linking to the other pages would be appropriate.--Jsydave 11:55, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

So, something like "Super Aguri redirects here. For the IndyCar team, see Super Aguri Fernandez Racing". Is that right? Bduddy 16:27, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Works chassis against regulations?

The section Super Aguri F1#The 2007 Season currently reads:

Reports suggesting that the team would be using the works Honda chassis of 2006 have come under intense resistance by rival teams Williams and Spyker. This is in fact against Formula 1 regulations, though Super Aguri (as well as Scuderia Toro Rosso) have justified the usage of a customer chassis under various loop-holes in the sport's regulations.

I think this puts it too bluntly. I think it's a stretch to say that this "is in fact against Formula 1 regulations", for one because we don't assert which F1 regulations are involved. The next part, the justification by Super Aguri and Toro Rosso, implies that it might be legal, if only by virtue of not being illegal. If we accuse Super Aguri and Toro Rosso of violating "Formula 1 regulations" or insinuate or imply that they do so (which I think we shouldn't do), I think we should verify this thoroughly. [edit] Super Best Friends

Here [1][2] are a couple of references which support the idea that Matchett's nickname for Super Aguri is based on the South Park episode. As to the quality of these references, I'll leave that for others to decide. DH85868993 (talk) 14:59, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

While we are on a quality thing...do we really need some fan site in external references and some trivia mention? Generally we seem to hold that there are so many fansites for F1 we exclude them all....certainly I can't imagine why a Super Aguri one would be notable (Beyond the general suprise at it existing O.o) Narson (talk) 18:24, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Name Change Alert

I think a name change may be iminent for this team...[1], [2]--Amedeo Felix (talk) 14:51, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

We don't need to worry about it till it happens. We are not a rumour mill nor a news service. Narson (talk) 15:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I didn't post rumour so please don't talk to me like that.--Amedeo Felix (talk) 15:44, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Here in the article entitled Super Aguri set for management reshuffle is some evidence on a probable name change taking place THIS YEAR.--Amedeo Felix (talk) 14:18, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
