Actually after graduating from HK Academy of Performing Arts, Sunny joined ATV and filmed several series(ex. the family series with Kent Cheng) for them until one of his roles had good reviews from the audience. This attracted TVB's attention so he was recruited to act for them. After acting for TVB for several years he decided to return to ATV and signed a five year contract with them but recently he has returned to TVB again since 2005.
