[edit] Units of measurement

According to the guidelines, one should "use the units employed in the current scientific literature on the topic". For biology-related articles, this will be SI. Using exclusively obsolete non-standard units such as pounds and inches gives a bad impression of wikipedia for any knowledgeable readers anywhere in the world (including the U.S.). 130.188.8.13 (talk) 16:45, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
