Many thanks, bibliomaniac15! It would be great if there were a simple "for dummies" protocol somewhere about how to upload a photo into a Wikipedia page in the simplest format. I spent a couple of hours once trying to sort such a procedure out in the help text, but in all the copyright-related legalese and detailed instructions for various kinds of marginal format, I eventually got bogged down. If you know of a 1,2,3-step idiot's guide someplace, by all means point it out to me.
Or should I be posting this message on your talk page?
Richard

[edit] Upload Images
Thanks for coming back to me. As for a guide, consider using Wikipedia:Uploading images, or the guide to uploading images in the Wikimedia Commons. Thanks for asking. bibliomaniac15 20:40, 30 September 2006 (UTC) PS: And also, if you have a new section to put on a talk page, it's customary to add it at the bottom, not the top. Thanks.
