[edit] Question

[1] - Why did you revert me here with the edit summary "revert"? Just a friendly question :-) ScarianCall me Pat 23:15, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

No worries at all. Remember to sign your posts with the four tildes ~~~~. - If you need any help getting around Wikipedia please do not hesitate to contact me :) ScarianCall me Pat 23:18, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] I'm a little confused...

by this. Enigma msg! 23:43, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Understandable. Hey, let me know if you have any questions. I see you're fairly new here. I'd love to help. Enigma msg! 23:49, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Messages

Why are you randomly giving welcome messages to editors who have been here for years? IrishGuy talk 23:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits made during March 12, 2008 (UTC)

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Gilliam (talk) 00:06, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Free advice

I have seen you give welcome messages to many editors. However, you just gave one to User:Can't sleep, clown will eat me. He has been around practically forever. If you want to welcome people, try Special:Log/newusers. But don't just welcome all the new users. Wait until they make a helpful contribution before you welcome them. J.delanoygabsadds 00:08, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I have less than 1/13th of the edits of Clown... but I still have almost 8,000 edits... and got a welcome...Balloonman (talk) 00:21, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if clown will appreciate it, but it's nearly as funny as welcoming Jimbo. clown is in the top 10 all time in terms of edits. Enigma msg! 02:56, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
I have an idea ;-) Balloonman (talk) 04:29, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
I'll WP:AGF and say thanks for welcoming me, too! ProhibitOnions (T) 09:38, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When using certain templates on talk pages, as you did to User talk:Dave1206, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of {{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Thank you. Jons63 (talk) 02:52, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
