[edit] Advertisement?

Well, this article is clearly looking like an advertisement for SUMOTorrent now. I'll try to clean it up a bit later on. Help is appreciated. Thanks, Nishkid64 (talk) 16:48, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

This is both insulting and wrong. I have no connection with or much interest in the site, and simply wrote a new article because the old one was pretty much an advertisement. It's now become a significant torrent tracker and therefore seemed to require an article, which I did not find when I looked it up. Can you possibly msnage to say something specific and sensible? What needs "cleaning up"? Gene Ward Smith

Just look at the article. It contains a bunch of weasel words and it clearly does not maintain a neutral point of view. Some examples: "One of its most remarkable features" and "the rate of growth of SUMO has been phenomenal." Those are just two examples. Could you look for reliable sources to support the article's statements. Nishkid64 (talk) 05:42, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

This is moronic. Why is "phenomenal" a weasel word"? It seems to me that it is too forthright for you. In any case, I'm simply paraphrasing from the cited sources. Gene Ward Smith (talk) 04:42, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

This is an encyclopedia written in a neutral point of view. "Phenomenal" is a term used to make something seem more "flashy", so it clearly is not appropriate. Ask anyone else; I'm sure they will agree with me. Nishkid64 (talk) 05:05, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Also, read WP:RS. I am removing the material from Torrentfreak, because that is a blog website, and therefore is not appropriate to use as a source. Nishkid64 (talk) 05:07, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
