Sumas Peak

Sumas Peak is an official name for a mountain located in the on the south shore of the Fraser River in the Fraser Valley between Abbotsford and Chilliwack, British Columbia. It is known locally as Sumas Mountain. Elevation 910 meters (2986 feet) a.s.l., prominence 875 m., location 49°07'14.0"N 122°07'39.0"W. The Mountain is mostly tree covered to its summit, only South-West side being the subject for staged development. A trail, the Centennial Trail, crosses the massif east to west. There is also a road to a microwave tower on its peak.
