Description

Crew of Sukrip Khrong Mueang performed the ritual wai to the Mae Ya Nang, the female spirit believed to be in every boat. It was performed before the important mission of Royal Barge Procession to bring luck and avoid obstacles. Behind the cannon (not seen in the photo) were food offerred to Mae Ya Nang and incense.
