I think this article should be deleted instead of merged. It contains several problems:

  • They are called "advisory speeds", not "suggested speed limits".
  • They are not a "law" per se. "Law" in common parlance implies a statutory restriction or something similar.
  • Original research and weasel words. E.g., "much disputed".
  • It is not true that advisory speed limits only exist in the United States (and as such should not be merged into the Speed Limits in the United States article).
  • "Immediate decelration" is also known as "panic braking" and is not what the signs recommend.

I will flag this article for deletion soon unless I hear differing opinions.
