Susan ("Sue") Holloway (born May 19, 1955 in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian dual Olympian, having competed in both Winter and Summer Games. She became the first woman and first Canadian to compete in both Summer and Winter Games in the same year, in the 1976 Winter Olympics in cross-country skiing and 1976 Summer Olympics in kayaking.
Susan Holloway was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1955. She attended Simon Fraser University and competed for its swim team. She received a physical education degree from SFU. Ms. Holloway qualified for the boycotted 1980 Summer Olympics in kayaking, and the 1984 Summer Olympics also in kayaking, where she won silver and bronze. Sue is a member of the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame.
She married fellow Olympian Greg Joy in 2002.
