Sindhanur Urban Souharda Co-operative Bank, popularly known as SUCO Bank is the first of its kind in rural sector of India.
SUCO Bank is the first and only co-operative bank in the country to be honored with ISO 9002 certification.

This facility is no longer the feature of tech savvy multi-national/commercial banks. SUCO Bank has been providing this service to its rural and semi urban customers since 1997, by using high-end software and hardware equipment and network. But this facility is not still open for its customers.

SUCO Bank was the only bank to provide transaction facilities from 10 am to 6.30 pm. This amply displays the commitment of the bank to customer service.(So many cooperative Banks are giving 8 am to 8 pm service. The service rendering by SUCO bank is not laudable)

She was brand ambassador for the year 2004-05. She is no more connected to the Bank in whatsoever manner. The contract period is over. But the Bank is still telling that she is the brand ambassador, which is against the contract.[citation needed]
