I have had blood vessels breaking in my eye every 5-10 days for approximately 10 months. I had cateract surgery 08/06 and lens implants. This condition started approsimately 12/06. My eyelids turned black & blue after the surgery and my Dr. said he had not seen this happen before but perhaps I was allergic to the medication they put in my eye. Until now there has been no pain but today when I look down there is pain in the upper eyeball. I have ssen my family Dr., an optomostrist, and the surgeon who did the surgery. Each one says they have not idea what causes it and indicates that I should just forget it. I am a professional sales person and my eye is bloody all the time. Judi Steffens

This happened to me from coughing and puking when I was sick, I got tired of people asking bout it cause it lasted for like 2 weeks.
