Well, i finally got it working in FF2 and IE7 - turns out it doesn't work in IE6: the sub-script is too low, the sup-script is invisible. I've not looked into it, I don't know why this happens. :(     — SkyLined {talkcontribs 03:59, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] A simpler approach

Your CSS seems overly complicated. Please evaluate and consider the following approach:

X_cd X^ab X^ab_cd

It has the advantage of being more semantic . The declarations for ADSCRIPT are in my style sheet.
