Su Fei fought in the Battle of Xiakou, with Huang Zu's forces. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms falsely stated that he defended a gate that protected Cai Mao and his fleet, but he was killed by Taishi Ci. In reality, Su survived the battle, and when Sun Quan wished to put him to death, Gan Ning, whom Su had saved from Huang's wrath earlier, interceded for Su, and Sun Quan spared him. The location of his birth and death place are unknown.
