I'm afraid, You're setting the wrong interwikilinks from Template:Location map XXX to fr:Modèle:Géolocalisation/XXX. Voir fr:Modèle:Location map, s.v.p. --Obersachse 07:15, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- No, the french map location (see fr:Aide:Géolocalisation automatisée) is an improved version (see fr:Modèle:Géolocalisation/Sinusoidal projection/Exemple, fr:Modèle:Géolocalisation/Rs-map/Exemple for examples) of Template:Location map. fr:Modèle:Location map is a bad creation and will be removed as soon as possible. <STyx 12:21, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Could you please translate fr:Modèle:Géolocalisation into english as Template:Geolocation map to show the improvement? If I understood the right way, the new template can use "normal" projection of maps, including countries like Russia and canada (near the pole). --Obersachse 14:09, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes it can. I'll try to create a "map location" template for USA with Alaska and Hawaï.
- and the french system has many other assets : optimized version, templates for map pointers, several spots on a map with different pointers, and many developments.

- With my fr-1 and en-2? Seulement un peu. But I know an specialist on templates. He has done a lot of improvement of Template:Location map. I've send a message to him to inform him about our discussion. I'll also try to find an french-and-english-speaker to help with translations. --Obersachse 17:30, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
