Another parser question.

Since expressions in Wikipedia are case-sensitive, any idea on how I could disable the case-sensitivity, without using a switch containing every possible form of capitalization?

To understand what I mean, one of my parameters is a switch of the parameter {{5}}}

  • If
         } is "active"-->output active template wrapped within botstatus template
  • If
         } is "inactive"-->output inactive template wrapped within botstatus template
  • If
         } is "discontinued"-->output discontinued template wrapped within botstatus template

etc..

Sorry, I'm not that good with it. If it was Visual Basic, I'd say use the ToLower funtion but I'm not sure such a thing exists in this. You might get an answer at the technical village pump though. Sorry I can't be of more help. :) Stwalkerstertalk ] 16:27, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Why are you threatening to ban me? I'm trying to upload better content (which is widely available and free on the internet) to enhance a page. How are the covers I'm trying a violation and not the covers on any other movie, comic, book, or media page that are freely and widely available via the internet? And also, please don't threaten my expulsion when I'm spending a lot of time and energy just trying to make wikipedia better and more informative. Isn't that our mutual goal? :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Timcanterbury616 (talkcontribs) 20:42, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
