Please read WP:BIO, this should help with asserting notability of any subject you should wish to write an article about. Just stating that somebody is an artist is insufficient I'm afraid, there are millions of artists out there (I'm pretty handy with a pencil) but most of them are entirely non-notable. Assertion and verification of notability is what I'm looking for. Hope this helps. The Rambling Man 18:29, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
