[edit] On the renaming...

The page was PROD and considered a potential hoax. I looked into it, and "Sanctuary Island" almost certainly referred to an island just east of Strawberry Landing and E Strawberry Drive [1]. A google search for "Strawberry Landing" seals turned up a number of references to a strawberry spit, which was a seal haul-out in the 70s and before, was threatened by development, and as a result was severed from the mainland (although still referred to as "Strawberry Spit" in academic papers). It may also go by the name of Sanctuary Island, but I couldn't find any evidence for that so I moved it. Coanda-1910 (talk) 21:54, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
