The local amatuer football team, other than Stourport Swifts is Abberley Vale FC, www.themightyvale.co.uk

[edit] Town Name

Some talk I picked up from somewhere suggested that the "on-Severn" part was added later by the Post Office to prevent confusion with nearby Stourbridge. I'm still looking for cites, but can anyone confirm or deny this? ---- FlipC 09:30, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Stourport is to the south of Kidderminster and not West as stated in the article 88.110.70.150 09:01, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
