In order to update the Stonehill page to the wikiproject university format the following things are needed:

  • The history has to be completely rewritten
  • The Student life section needs expansion
  • The trivia section needs to be removed
  • Everything needs to be cited
  • The college ranking section needs to be completely rewritten and much more concise (i added an unbalanced tag to it because it is written like an advertisment)

[edit] Alcohol Policies Section

I think the alcohol policies section is an important part of the student life section of this article. I understand that alcohol policies are not within the scope of most of the articles of universities and colleges on wikipedia, however with respect to Stonehill College the exceptionally harsh policies have a substantial influence on student life. I agree the length of the section could be shortened however it does warrant mention in the article for informational purposes. Rcurtis5 (talk) 22:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Rcurtis5: Why do you keep insisting on including this alcohol policies section after people have repeatedly taken the time to remove it. It is an absolutely ridiculous thing to include about Stonehill or any college for that matter. No other college or university has such a section and it makes it seem like that is all people at Stonehill care about. Please stop putting this back in. It does not warrant such huge mention and attention in this article and certainly does not need it's own section. If you do feel the burning need to include something about this as you seem to do then I suggest a one sentence description without a separate title. The Stonehill Skyhawks entry needs reference to pressure from the NCAA as well. The text implies that there was none. It should also be noted that the "Crusaders" name is no less offensive. gharm 18:48, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

I had never heard of it before, either. A quick google turned this up. Sounds like gym volleyball except play off of the walls is allowed. Hence, walleyball.Slavakion 03:00, 26 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Changes

Can someone re-write the section on all the on-going changes to the roadways, etc. so that student nicknames for buildings "SpoCo", "The Sem", etc. are clearer? I'd do it but I'm going MIA for a while. Stoneice02 07:12, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
