aswell as being worn by the streets it has also been frequently worn by the mitchell brotheres and therefore being brought to the attention of the UK hip-hop scene.

  • Kano and other UK-urban acts were wearing it before (infact in one or two vids I've even seen some rappers wearing CP company Mille Miglia goggle jackets!!) I don't think this artical dlivers though. Nothing about Massimo Otsi (sp?)and it's history etc. This is not a dig at the original auther, because info on the subject is very difficualt to find. There are some interesting articals on the brand on the 'County Lads' website, but it'sprobbaly all copywright.

[edit] Profanity

However, as with other expensive designer cunt labels such as Burberry and Aquascutum, Stone Island has become more mainstream, particularly amongst those known as chavs in the UK. The underlying reason for this is the availability of designer labels on eBay, which are frequently fake, along with the popularity of films such as The Football Factory, Green Street, and the musician The Streets, following a retro casual style.

I'll edit it.

Stone Island is a make of fashion wankers clothing. The label was set up by Italian designer Massimo Osti in 1982 as a secondary line or diffusion collection of his main CP Company label. The brand was remarkable for specialising in surface treatment of fabrics and dyeing techniques.

I'll edit this one...
