In 1999, the Stoney Curtis Band released their self-titled studio album, which was the first of their trilogy of albums. Stoney Curtis is the lead guitarist and vocalist. Now former member, Roger Tausz took bass. and last but not least, Charles Grover was the drummest. Curtis was also its producer.^[1]

After recording a couple of demo tapes, ouside the public, the band decided to produce their first Studio CD.^[2] It contained original tracks such as Last Train to Chicago and Evil Woman. It also had blues covers such as Straighten It Out by Latimore, Damn Right I’ve Got the Blues and the old blues standby favorite Sweet Home Chicago. The recording place of this album is at Doghouse Recording Studios in Burbank owned by Alan Mirikatani ak.a B.B. Chung King.
