Stocken (HM Prison)

HM Prison Stocken is a Category C closed training prison in the parish of Stretton in the county of Rutland.
Built in 1985 as a young offender institution, HMP Stocken opened as a Category C closed training prison. It has since expanded with new wings added in 1990, 1997, 1998 and an MTU opened in April 2003. The operational capacity is 622 men (as of 31 January 2006).
