Description

Isolated stone wall in the woods near Dingmans Ferry, Pike County, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Forests have reclaimed most of the once-abundant farmland in the Delaware River Valley north of the Water Gap. Stone walls and foundations of long-abandoned farms are often seen in the woods.
