STKE or Signal Transduction Knowledge Environment, is a proprietary information system owned by the journal Science. It covers signal transduction in biology, allowing study of how cells control their own and each others’ behaviors through chemical signals. It is a collection of electronic networking tools including primary and review literature.

The proprietors state the:

goal of Science's STKE is to identify and develop a mix of tools and approaches (algorithms, schemas, programs, and human organizational structures) that are stable, scalable, interoperable, and cost effective for providing access to information on cell signaling.
