Pages are protected, semi-protected, or move-protected according to the protection policy.

• If you would like a page to be protected, list it at requests for page protection. Please do not leave messages on my talk page asking for pages to be protected. The noticeboards are much better monitored and your request will be dealt with more quickly that way.
• If you would like a page to be unprotected, list it at requests for unprotection. Please do not leave messages on my talk page asking for pages to be unprotected. The noticeboards are much better monitored and your request will be dealt with more quickly that way.
• If you feel that I protected a page inappropriately, leave me a message with a link to the exact page title explaining why I should not have protected the page. Or if you are an admin, I trust you to unprotect the page without further reference to me.
• If you feel that some other administrator protected a page inappropriately (e.g. to gain an advantage in a dispute), list it at Administrators' noticeboard/incidents.
