Talk:Sticky toffee pudding
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The trivia section contains either a misplaced set of sentences, or sentences that need to be made much more clear:
Sticky Toffee Pudding was the winning ice cream flavor in the 2006 Häagen-Dazs contest, submitted by Judiaann Woo. Sticky Toffee Pudding ice cream was slated to be produced from July 2006 to January 2007. Due to its popularity, it will be released as a full-time flavour. The pudding itself was enhanced and further developed by Lisa Kenyon for her niece Sarah Bruce, a big fan of the pudding and anything chocolatey. Both live in Yorkshire.
The part beginning "The pudding itself..." seems to be inappropriate. Does it mean that Lisa Kenyon is putting in a claim for creating sticky toffee pudding? Or did she develop the pudding upon which the ice cream flavor was based?
And does anyone care that Sarah Bruce is a fan of "anything chocolatey"? (Other than Sarah herself and, apparently, Ms. Kenyon.)
I am removing this sentence for now, unless someone can explain what it means and why it belongs where it is. 76.100.205.82 21:38, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and removing the sentence telling that both live in Yorkshire as well. 76.100.205.82 21:43, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
I am removing the sentence "It was originally called "icky sticky toffee sponge." Unless someone can find a source I don't believe it should be in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.238.174 (talk) 01:03, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
