Good Evening, Mr Steve. Thank you very much for Ukranian1346.gif you have placed in Wiki. All our Ukrainian Internet community wishes you all the best for this file. But there is a problem of usage - noone is able to use it cause there are no any LEGEND or DATA or explainatons about the percentage of Ukrainians which is very necessary in usage of image. There are only colours - yellow and red without any explainatoins. Would you mind giving us a link of that image from directly http://factfinder.census.gov or doing something to show real numbers in PERCENTAGE of Ukrainians or any direct DATA. Thank You. Exuse me for Broken Engklish - in Ukraine I cant find a good field for using it... ould you mind responsing me, pleeese in alkur@.com.ua.

[edit] How do I make census block level thematic maps?

Thanks for all the thematic maps you've put together. They're definitely interesting and useful.

I'm trying to make a block-level thematic map for race and can't figure out how to do it. I've been able to make one that's broken down into census tracts, but can't get any finer than this. Can you offer any hints?

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:Gap

A tag has been placed on Template:Gap requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

I really appreciate the maps you put up on CA demography. I am currently try to find demographic information on Oakland, CA and found your maps to be helpful, especially considering that the US Census website is so confusing. However, I was wondering if you could explain the color codes you have on the maps, for example for a map concerning race density what does dark red indicate in terms of numbers versus light red, brown, yellow, etc? Also, are these maps available on the US Census website or did you compile the information from the website and make them yourself? I ask this because when trying to use their mapping feature, it does not seem to show neighborhood-specific results (i.e. all of Oakland seems to be one color).
