Apparently, it is the question mark that throws it off. Figured it out by using a site I made. (ex: ^[{{{1}}}]) (reposted from Sango123's talk page) EVula 20:03, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Replace the mode=error with something (in this case "example") and it works.^[1] This is confusing -- Steel 20:08, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

I think EVula's right about the = character; it can be used in templates in this manner: {{oldafdfull|result=keep}}, so that might be messing things up. Sango123 22:07, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes, there is. Simply replace the equal sign with = and it works like a charm.^[2] You can find more HTML codes here if you have any more problems with other characters. Sango123 23:18, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
