Stewart Russell Smith was born to parents Stephen Hunter Smith and Ann Holmes Smith on April 20th, 1989 at 6pm. He has one brother, Bruce Hunter Smith. He was named after his two grandfathers, Stewart Smith and John Russell Holmes
[edit] Early Years
Russell grew up in his hometown of Canby, Oregon where he attended 91 Elementary School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. At 91, Russell won the National Geography Bee 2-times. After graduating, he made the move into city limits to attend Canby High School.
[edit] High School
Russell was very active in high school. He was a 2-time letterer in varsity Football for the Canby Cougars and as a Senior helped the team go undefeated in league, taking home the 2007 Pacific Conference title. The Cougars were eventually knocked out of the playoffs by the eventual state champion Jesuit High School (Oregon) Crusaders in the semi-finals, but only after victimizing Centennial High School, Beaverton High School, and South Eugene High School.
Other than football, Russell spent a time in student government, marching band, pep band, FBLA, Key Club, and Track and Field.
Russell attributes High School as his musical starting point as well as where he gained his confidence and life outlook.

Russell is currently a freshman at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. He is majoring in Business Administration and plans on seeking admission the the Charles H. Lundquist College of Business in the next two years. Russell is also seeking minors in Accounting, Human Physiology, and Economics. Russell's roommate is Henry Driftmier of Boulder, Colorado.
