My real name is left as an exercise to the reader, but here's a hint: scrutinize my Wikipedia user name carefully.
My main claim to fame is that I autocross. I've trophied at the SCCA national championships twice, won a Tour, and have several Tour and Pro trophies. I was also briefly a member of the SCCA's Stock Advisory Committee, which means someone thought I knew a decent bit about cars and how fast they can go.
I'm a car enthusiast in general -- I subscribe to a half dozen car magazines, and keep up with as many forums. This means I have a pretty decent mental store of arcane car trivia, although finding references for said knowledge can sometimes be a challenge.
Other than that, I've been an employee of Microsoft Corporation for over nine years, working in the Windows and Games teams. This has given me pretty decent knowledge of the software industry, and its trends and practices, although I grant that it also puts me in danger of not having a neutral point of view.
I recently topped 500 Wikipedia edits, which is a good day for some people, but I'm still pretty happy about it.
