Born in Liverpool in 1980 and moved to North Wales shortly after. Grew up in a small ex-mining village and schooled privately locally. Learned to speak Welsh fluently and was also awarded the Welsh Learner of the Year in 1994.

Successfully completed 10 GSCEs and progressed to college to study media production. After quickly learning that this was not for him, he then decided to join the financial sector and studied toward the Financial Services Management degree through the University of Manchester (UMIST).

During this time he moved to the Isle of Man, an offshore juristiction between the UK and Ireland, not part of the UK but a Crown Dependancy of the British Commonwealth. Here he joined Lloyds TSB and continued his studies, via distance learning. After 5 years management service and having now qualified, Stephen then left Lloyds TSB and joined MBL Financial Services in March 2005.[1]

Since joining the company, Stephen has quickly worked through several positions and most recently became Junior Partner. He also spearheaded a new venture for the business and established an overseas investment property arm of the company, now known as MBL Estates. [2]

Stephen still lives in the Isle of Man and also has other properties overseas, including Dubai and the Red Sea.
