[edit] NBA ban?

The article said something about him being banned from the NBA, but he's also categorized as a Dallas Maverick. This appears to be true so I'm eliminating the part about the ban. PhilipR 23:26, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

This page is total nonsense. For starters, Smith wasn't sent to prison until December of 1999, and was released in October of 2000. He wasn't under any sort of scandal in 1995, he wasn't drafted because he wasn't thought to be good enough. Furthermore, he didn't score 26 points in his entire NBA "career," let alone one game.
