[edit] Revertions
The story of how Steve threw up is not being added by some sort of vandal. It's a well documented story that has been referred to in many news sources, including an interview here:
WCN: Beck wrote a song about you, "Steve Threw Up". How much truth is there to the story?
SM: This thing is going to follow me to my grave. For my defense, it wasn't the ferris wheel - it was The Zipper - and I threw up on myself, not the girl. For some reason Beck thought it was hilarious and turned it into that song. The funny thing is I have heard that that song and "Satan Gave Me a Taco" are Beck's two most requested songs (much to his chagrin)! I remember I was in Italy on vacation and backstage to see his show in Rome and someone in the audience shouted "Steve-a Threw Upp-a"! Beck looked over at me and shook his head. It's nice to be a "footnote" in rock history, although I wish it didn't involve me barfing.

- I reverted to "mostly true" because it's not only the list of food and the ride that are different; Moramarco also says he didn't throw up on a girl. That's three differences, so I don't think it qualifies as true. (There are probably other things in the song that aren't true, too, but I'm just dealing with the ones Moramarco mentions in the substantiating interview.) Candy 21:50, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

- Ah, before I changed it, it said 'mostly fictional', but mostly true makes more sense. --It's-is-not-a-genitive 21:55, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, you're right! I thought it said "mostly true." I suppose I was thinking that "mostly true" was the best way to describe it, so that's what I saw. Candy 22:05, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- You're right... I only took issue with it being considered 'mostly fictional.' 'Mostly true' is certainly the most accurate and less beat-around-the-bushish way to describe it (I certainly wouldn't have changed it had it been that :).) --It's-is-not-a-genitive 22:11, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Stevethrewup.jpg
Image:Stevethrewup.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
