[edit] Types of Stern
I don't have the knowledge to add the following, but it would make a nice addition to the page. Stern types could include transom, cruiser ... etc. Maybe some nice photos could be added as well. the ass end of the boat location of the out board motor transom rearof the boat —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.131.4.201 (talk) 06:51, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, this would be very useful indeed. The ones I can think of right now are
- Wineglass
- Barrelback
- Fantail
- Slipper
- Beaver
- Canoe
- The list goes on...
- There might be some regional differences in terms, so I'd like to have a second opinion from someone who is more into boat design. --GSchjetne (talk) 21:44, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Page protected
A user drew my attention to claims of repeated vandalism and page blanking by IPs on this article. Having examined the History from recent days I concur that there's a probalem, so I have placed semi-protection on this page so only established users can edit it for the time being. 23skidoo (talk) 02:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
