[edit] The stereophonics

The leading line states that Stereophonics never were called "The stereophonics".

This is not true, they were called 'the stereophonics' just before they were signed up to V2. It is written on various demo tapes. Although the band promtly dropped 'the' and are still known as Stereophonics

[edit] Richard Jones?

Is this the same Richard Jones that Sophie Ellis-Bextor is married to ?

No that's a different Richard Jones from another band - The Feeling.

[edit] Restructuring

I flagged this article as requiring restructuring because of the "jumbled" nature of the content. For example you have information on the band history in the introduction but more should be said about how the critics have repeatedly savaged their fantabulous coolness

[edit] Update to Trivia section

I have added a little bit to the trivia section, to include the little bit about the hit song Dakota being used in the opening of the TV Show Veronica Mars. If this is incorrect please kindly remove it, many thanks,

[edit] Problems to show the infobox

the subjectline says more or less everything. when i visit the stereophonics (band) site with firefox on wiki then it shows my just a bunch of code things instead of the infobox. please fix that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.127.3.204 (talk) 11:23, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Post-Grunge

Shall I put post-grunge as one of their genres? They do sound a bit grungy to me, and Kelly Jones soudns like a mix of Chris Cornell and [{Eddie Vedder]] Titan50 (talk) 13:44, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] non NPOV, non encyclopaedic

Removed a good deal of unsourced/non-neutral/poorly written content. Tidied up a little, still a great deal of work needs doing with the content. Some of the paragraphs currently read as a list of single positions, which would surely be better included in the discography. There should be more exposition on the history of he band rather than just a catalogue of releases/tours/etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.104.145.200 (talk) 12:49, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Still together

The Stereophonics are still together, unless someone knows better in which case I would expect a citation or at least a note of their conclusion somewhere in the article. Until that happens the first line should continue to read `The Stereophonics are...' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.107.4.104 (talk) 21:59, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Album Titles

Am I right in thinking all their albums are named after lines in a song on the respective album ?Darwin-rover (talk) 13:09, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
