[edit] Not just in the cerebellum
Hey, I just did some edits, adding the fact that a "stellate cell" is not always a cerebellar stellate cell, but also cortical ones (and possibly other ones I don't know of). I added a current clamp recording of a cortical spiny stellate cell, which may or may not be useful in other neurosci applications. If anyone has like, a biocytin fill or something nice and anatomical, that would add a lot (I'll try and get a current clamp recording of a cerebellar stellate cell next time I make cerebellar slices Bilz0r 08:06, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Ah, I didn't say that, (the creative commons image comment above), that is either a fast spiking or low threshold spiking cell. Spiny Stellate cells have a Regular Spiking firing pattern.. Bilz0r 09:36, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Propose splitting into separate pages
I propose a different Wikipedia page for each type of stellate cell. This page would remain to describe what the term "stellate" means, and to link to the other pages. 198.202.70.227 (talk) 01:25, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
