Steven Ehrlick

Steven Ehrlick is the co-founder of the Orange Record Label. He is a professor at Ryerson University, teaching legal and business courses in the Radio and Television Arts program.
A twenty year music industry veteran, Ehrlick has headed up the Legal & Business Affairs departments for two major labels in Canada (BMG and EMI) as well as one U.S.-based label in New York (The Enclave) where he also served at times as the general manager and head of new media.
Earlier in his career, Ehrlick was the Managing Director of Canadian independent label True North Records. In the early 1990s, Ehrlick was President of his own management and production company, Sirius Music.
The first ten years of Ehrlickâs career were spent as an entertainment lawyer, concentrating his practice in the record industry.
Ehrlick is also a published novelist. His book The Channel (ISBN 1882897498) was published in 2000.
Away from the office, Ehrlick is an avid clay target shooter, concentrating on Skeet and Sporting Clays as well as a student and amateur practitioner of Tarot.
