Steve Milton is the current world record-holder of having created the largest rubber band ball. Completed in 2006, his creation weighs 4,600 lb (2,100 kg), is 19 ft (5.8 m) in circumference, and is comprised of over 175,000 rubber bands[1]. When he completed it with sponsorship from OfficeMax, Milton broke the previous record of the largest one set by John Bain, who had created a rubber band ball of 3,120 lb (1,420 kg) in the year 1999.[2]
