The Steve Carlson Band (sometimes advertised as 'SCB') was an American country rock and funk country rock band based out of Hollywood, California. Formed in 2004, the band released its first independent album in the summer of 2005 and performed in the L.A. club scene through 2006. Not to be confused with the Steve Carson Band (also known as SCB) a more rock oriented band that plays regularly in Hollywood, California.

[edit] History
[1]In 2004, Steve Carlson formed The Steve Carlson Band along with bass player Steve Dress, a graduate of the Juilliard School, drummer Tim Jimenez, a California native who was an original member of the legendary Rave-Ups, signed to Epic Records, and saxophonist David Olivas, who earned his performance degree from the Berklee College of Music. Together they have become a constant on the L.A. club scene, selling out venues and awing both fans and critics alike.
With the bands’ highly anticipated debut album Rollin On that was released in June of 2005, they are looking forward to showcasing their talents on a worldwide stage.
