Stephen deRoux (born December 13, 1983) is an Jamaican-born soccer player who currently plays midfielder for Minnesota Thunder in USL1.[1]
He played college soccer at Prince George's Community College, in College Park, Maryland. He was a NSCAA Second Team All-American in 2002.
He signed a developmental contract with D.C. United on September 15, 2005. After the 2007 season, United did not exercise deRoux's contract option, but did invite him to rejoin United at training camp after exploring USL opportunities and then attempt to re-earn a roster spot.[2]
