Stephen Shaw (musician)

Stephen Shaw (also known as Steve Shaw and Steven Shaw) is a trombone player specialising in 'between-the-wars' music.

Shaw studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. He was the trombone player for the Pasadena Roof Orchestra for over ten years. He has also played with the Solid Senders Big Band, the Charleston Chasers, the Cotton Club Orchestra, the BBC Big Band, Tuxedo Jazz, Syd Lawrence Orchestra, the Piccadilly Dance Orchestra, Vic Lezal's Band, the Glenn Miller Orchestra (UK), the European Concert Orchestra, and The New Vaudeville Band.

In addition, Shaw has performed in many West End shows, television and movie soundtracks, and with many music stars, including Marc Almond, Plan B, Barry Adamson, Shirley Bassey, Robbie Williams, and Dexys Midnight Runners.
