Stephen Frederick Peterman (born January 11, 1982 in Gulfport, Mississippi) is an American football guard for the Detroit Lions of the NFL.

Peterman attended St. Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, graduating in 2000. He was selected with the 20th pick of the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft out of Louisiana State University by the Dallas Cowboys. Peterman was released by the Cowboys on August 23, 2006. He was signed from the Detroit Lions practice squad and he is currently listed on the depth chart as the starting right guard.
