Stephen Kirk (businessman)

Stephen Michael Kirk (August 28th, 1952-present) is a businessman and entrepreneur from London, UK.
Stephen Kirk founded Cable London Plc., Broadsystem Ltd,[1] and Broadsystem Ventures, which was a joint venture with Rupert Murdoch's News International. Kirk sold Broadystem Ltd to News International in 1990 and five years later started a joint venture, Broadsystem Ventures, with News International. He sold his stake in 1999.
From 1999 onwards, Kirk has been involved with other companies at Board-level, including Elisabeth Murdoch's London based TV production company, Shine entertainment [2] where he is a Non-Executive director. He is also Chairman of Mobile Commerce Ltd [3]. Stephen is also an Associate at Ironbridge Capital Partners.[4] In May 2006, Stephen Kirk was named runner-up at the Non-Executive Director Awards[5] (NED) in the category of 'Privately-owned or Private Equity-backed unquoted companies' for his work at Mobile Commerce Ltd.
Stephen Kirk is a certified Master NLP Practitioner and Executive Coach. He lives in Marylebone, Central London.
