Stephen Jones (journalist)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stephen Jones is a Welsh journalist and the rugby union correspondent for The Times and The Sunday Times, and has been for over 20 years and twice-named Sports Correspondent of the Year by the Sports Journalists' Association, much to the disbelief of rugby fans. He is best known for his deep resentment for rugby outside of England and the Guinness Premiership including in his own homeland of Wales. He harbours particularly bitter antipathy towards Ireland and New Zealand. Recently questions have been raised over his personal life due to articles that have focused heavily on "passionate" praise of Sale Sharks and England prop Andrew Sheridan.
