Stephen Jelley (born May 12, 1982 in Leicester) is a British auto racing driver. In 2006 and 2007 he drove for Double R Racing in the British Formula Three series. After a second place in the 2007 opening round,[1] he took two wins and finished 3rd overall.[2][3] He contested the 2008 GP2 Asia Series season for the ART Grand Prix team.[4] Jelley later switched to touring cars, contesting the 2008 BTCC championship with Team RAC as Colin Turkington's teammate.[5] Early results were not impressive; after 15 of the 30 rounds he has 4 points, compared to his team-mate's 93 - three other BMWs are ahead in the standings, including fellow rookie Steven Kane for the much smaller Motorbase team.
